What is RPL?
Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) is an assessment process that identifies and validates the skills and knowledge you have gained through prior formal study, informal or non-formal training, work experience, or volunteer activities.
If you successfully gain RPL for certain units of competency, you will still receive the same fully-accredited national qualification but can complete it in less time and at a lower cost.
Benefits of RPL
Save Time
Skip classes and assessments for topics you already master, shortening your overall study duration.
Lower Cost
Pay only for the units you need to complete, saving money on overall course tuition.
Career Advancement
Upgrade your credentials to boost your resume and prepare for promotions or career transitions.
Volunteer to Paid Work
Validate your volunteer care or community work experience to secure paid employment.
The RPL Process
Initial Assessment
Our training experts review your background and map your experience to the relevant qualification units.
Submit Evidence
Provide documents backing up your claim, including portfolios, past qualifications, job descriptions, reference letters, and work samples.
Evaluation
Our assessor reviews the evidence and determines if you satisfy the learning outcomes of the units.
